I’ve always been fascinated by the answers I get when I ask, “So, what do you do?” While it often starts as small talk, I learn about what drives people and what really matters to them.
After two decades in marketing, my curiosity has taken me into think tanks, publishing, consumer products, travel, hospitality, and non-profits. Each move provided a chance to learn how different people and organizations work. These moves fueled my constant drive to explore new perspectives. That curiosity is what drives my work.
With every What She Does interview, I discover jobs, challenges, and insights I didn’t know enough about. They make me stop and think, “Wait, if I had known this was a path, would I have taken it?” I love the detours, the surprises, and the day-to-day reality that never shows up in a LinkedIn bio. Join us in discovering some surprising “I had no idea that’s what you actually do!” moments.
